Dr. Howard Kessler earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at Brooklyn College. He then attended Pennsylvania College of Optometry where he received his Doctor of Optometry along witha Bachelor of Science. Following graduation, he moved to Long Island and Insight Vision Center was established in 1982.
Dr. Kessler is a founding member of the American Optometric Society.
Dr. Kessler is a perfectionist when it comes to your prescription whether for glasses of contact lenses. Dr. Kessler will take the time to explain the results of your eye exam, describe your options and listen to your eyecare needs. Dr. Kessler has a special interst in fitting contact lenses whether you require toric, monovision or multifocal lenses and is up to date on the most current technology and products. He will happily co-manage surgical cases.
When not at the office, Dr. Kessler can be found playing basketball and golf. He is a sports enthusiast so after your exam try to stump with a sports trivia questions and look at his sports memorabilia collection.
